Survey
The next big thing is nothing less than transforming the
industry by designing an affordable system that will put the
hospitality back into the hospitality business, offer the
universal solution to restaurant health and make it possible
for independent restaurants to grow and prosper for as long as
they choose.
A system like this will have to be something very different
than anyone has ever seen before. Most people would probably
consider something like this "impossible" which is why I think
nobody has tried to do it. But if we could somehow actually
come up with a system that would take the struggle out of
owning and operating an independent restaurant, what results
would it need to produce to be irresistible to you? What
burdens would it need to relieve to take the worry out of your
life and free you up to focus on truly being a place of
hospitality?

2. Fiscal
Fitness
The Internet opens up possibilities that were unthinkable only
a few short years ago and when you are certified as A Place
of Hospitality you will be able to take full advantage of
all that.
A common complaint of independent operators is the amount of
time they spend pushing numbers so we intend to automate as
much of the grunt work as possible. This survey will give you
an outline of what we already intend to create ... and we want
your ideas to help us see even more radical applications. The
program designers will need to invent ways to do things that
have always seemed impossible ... so what would you like to see
invented?

3. All-Star
Staff
You need an all-star staff to be A Place of
Hospitality ... and to do that you need an organized
plan. Because independent operators complain about the amount
of time they spend trying to keep their shifts filled with
quality workers, the program will include a proven process to
find, select, develop and retain the best of the best.
Without a plan you are just making things up. When you make
things up, you risk making mistakes, either by hiring the wrong
person or by violating employment laws. Making it up takes more
time, is less effective and produces more stress. When you make
it up, most of the work falls to the manager ... who already
has too much to do. Worst of all, without a plan you don't get
the best people and that is the greatest loss of all -- for
you, your staff and especially for your guests..
This survey looks at what we already intend to create ... and
asks for your ideas to help us see even more radical
applications. The program designers will need to invent ways to
do things that have always seemed impossible. We want a "wish
list" of the resources you would like to have at hand if your
wildest dreams could come true ... and then let's see how close
we can come to giving it to you.
